Who is SellerPay for?
Small sellers and service providers who take orders on WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook and want a safe, simple way to collect payment, such as fashion sellers, food vendors, hairdressers, tutors and repairers.
What do I need to sign up?
Your name, an email address, a WhatsApp number and a password. After that you add a Nigerian bank account so we know where to send your money. Exabit reviews every new account before payments are switched on.
How much does it cost?
SellerPay charges 1% per payment, never more than ₦1,000 on each payment. Paystack, our payment partner, also charges its own processing fee, which is shown in your reports. You pay nothing unless you get paid.
Does my customer need an account?
No. They open your link, pay, and get a receipt. They don't install anything or sign up.
How do I know a customer has really paid?
SellerPay confirms every payment with Paystack before telling you. You get a WhatsApp message and an email only when the money is confirmed, so a screenshot is never needed.
When do I receive my money?
Payments are settled to your bank account by Paystack on its normal settlement schedule. Your SellerPay reports show which payments are confirmed.
What if my customer paid but I didn't get a message?
SellerPay re-checks payments with Paystack automatically, so a payment that was missed at first is picked up. You can also check your dashboard at any time, or contact support with the payment reference.
Is it safe? Do you see my customers' card details?
No. Customers pay on Paystack's secure checkout page. Card details never pass through SellerPay.
Can I use it for services, not just products?
Yes. You describe whatever you are charging for, whether it is a dress, a haircut or a lesson, and set the amount.
